Pastors
Rev. Kent Hinkel, Senior Pastor. Pastor Kent and Trish came to First Baptist in 1995 as Associate Pastor. Kent became our senior pastor in 1999. Kent has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Dakota, a Masters of Divinity degree from North American Baptist Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. The family has three sons, Andrew, Ethan, and Matthew. Pastor Kent's goal is to faithfully "proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ" (Colossians 1:28).
Rev. Gordon Kroe
ker, Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Community Life. Pastor Gordon and Luise Kroeker have lived in North Dakota for 15 years, and been in Pastoral Ministry for 18 years. Pastor Gordon has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fresno Pacific University, CA, a Masters of Divinity degree from Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary in Fresno, CA. Pastor Gordon has served churches in Manitoba, California, and North Dakota. He began his ministry here at First Baptist in November 2008. The family has two daughters, Ruth and Heather.
Pastor Paul Pankratz, Associate Pastor of Student Ministries. As Pastor of 
Student Ministries, Paul is primarily responsible for advancement of youth ministries at FBC. Paul aspires to encourage the personal and spiritual growth of each youth, foster genuine community, and develop a missional posture in each believer. In addition to youth ministry, Paul provides pastoral leadership to a variety of other ministry needs at FBC. Paul grew up in Minot and became a member of FBC when he was an early teen. He is married to Kelly and they have four children (Emma, Hezekiah, Levi & Olivia). Prior to having children, Paul and Kelly were missionaries in Cambodia . Paul is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and an online graduate student at Fuller Theological Seminary.
Pastor Josh Huseby, Associate Pastor of Worship Arts. Josh and wife Kasey joined the team at First Baptist in 2007. They have two boys, Samuel and William. Josh and Kasey married in 2003 and have lived in Minot since then. He is a graduate of MSU with a BA in Music Performance. Kasey has worked in the school system in the past, but is enjoying being at home with their children.
